The Inspiro team has close ties to Brazil, as you've read in our About Us section. Therefore, besides the fact that we miss Brazil dearly, over time we've also made Brazilian friends who live in Timișoara or who love Brazilian cultural elements so much that they want to promote them locally.
So we invite you to put your phone on "airplane mode" and come to an evening where, undisturbed by alarms or notifications, you'll receive an introduction to Capoeira, the form of martial arts expressed through dance, you'll dance to Brazilian rhythms, and you'll enjoy the savory flavors of typical dishes from the Bahia region of Brazil
Event agenda:
18:00 - 18:15 – We receive participants
18:15 - 20:15 – Time for Capoeira
20:15 - 20:30 – Break to change outfits
20:30 - 21:45 – Time for party and socializing
21:45 - 22:00 – We close the event
What would be useful to bring along:
- a casual outfit for the first part of the event and a party outfit
- warm socks and comfortable footwear, good for dancing
- a savory or sweet snack for yourself or to share with others (if you wish to share it, of course)
Time for Capoeira
One of the special guests of this evening, Florin Moș, a professional therapist and person passionate about Brazilian culture, especially the benefits of movement for body, mind, and soul, will briefly introduce us to what Capoeira is. And after the short introduction, he'll guide us in an active practice session of this martial arts form that so beautifully combines dance and acrobatics. Everything will happen to Brazilian rhythms, with the Berimbau being the star instrument. To participate, you need courage and pure curiosity, but certainly not experience.
Depending on the number of participants, we'll see if there will be INSPIRO timers or not. Please bring a casual outfit consisting of pants, a t-shirt, and a pair of warm socks for a unique active session.
Time for socialising and partying!
After the Capoeira session, we'll continue the evening with dancing, good vibes, socializing, and Brazilian food. The guides for this part are 2 professional Brazilian dancers, Cecilia Bassetto and Gustavo Ferreira, equally passionate about art, grace, and music. Both studied dance at the Bolshoi Ballet School in Brazil, and in recent years, Timișoara has become their new home, as they are soloists at the Romanian National Opera Timișoara.
The INSPIRO team will prepare and offer participants some Brazilian dishes. However, we also invite you to bring any delicacy that reminds you of Brazil and the Brazilian party atmosphere, so well-known throughout the world.

Disclaimer: The condition for participating in INSPIRO Club events is to entrust us with your phone by accepting the challenge of being authentically human. However, if for some reason unknown to us, your phone gets enchanted by the beauty of the place or finds something more interesting to do, INSPIRO Club cannot be held responsible.
